An Ode to the Short Girl

Thursday, July 14th, 2011

The short girl sits with her feet dangling from her seat

The short girl rolls her pants so they don’t drag on the ground

The short girl always has to look up to greet

The short girl is always below the waves of sound

The short girl is mistaken for a student when she goes to teach

The short girl moves her seat forward to reach the pedal

The short girl often trips because to her the steps are so high

The short girl must climb on her cabinets whenever she has to reach

The short girl needs something sturdy to stand on, like metal

The short girl buys a strong step ladder from First Place Supply
